Big World a cool map and fun game. Not many play it though. You might find a game in the triplea lobby. I’ve seen it played there somewhat frequently.

Pretty sure you’ll like this, if you like Big World. OOB G 40 map, so a little different, but I Highly recommend giving it a try :)

I was twelve when I got 1941.  I am only 16 still.  My group consists of 11-53 years of age the youngest being my little brother.  Most of us are 15-18.  Three of them are family members and the rest are friends or simply kids from school.  I would recommend that he first ask his family if they are interested.  That is a small chance so he can then go to his friends or people his age he is axquainted with or anyone decent and interested really.  However, I spent my first year just playing solo and occasionally with family and this really helped me get the rules down.  Best of luck to him!

I’ve been coming down to the GASP gaming days in Pittsburgh since November. You may or may not be aware of it. A rather large group of people get together once a month to play board games, RPG’s, and miniatures. Once a year (November) they have an even larger convention called GASP-con. Not many there play A&A board games on a regular basis (that I’ve seen), but I always bring my collection of A&A hoping to play. I played a game of Spring 42 second edition at the con in November. We had a 5 player game of Spring 1942 1st edition Jan 5th.

After the January GASP, I met up with AASeeker (see previous Pittsburgh posts this section) in WV for another game of Spring 1942. We are planning a future get together for the same purpose in Pittsburgh in March and April.

Now we can configure the predefined boards, or create new boards. We can add hills tiles, forest tiles, bridges tiles, etc. and we can add some elements to the battlefield, like bridges, rivers, roads, objetive targets, etc…

Yeah I found Triple A. I had posted a comment in another area asking if players here like the A&A CD-Rom game VS Triple A. Are you familiar with the A&A game Hasbro made for WIN 95/98. Don’t seemed shocked about its age I had it when it first came out joined the army lost it got out of the army and found it at Best Buy late last year so its still around.

My preference is for the CD-Rom version. I like it better for navigating. Let me know what you think. sometime this summer when the roads are clear we’ll have to play FTF.
