The question is rather then “do I feel lucky, punk?”. But maybe this is still not the time for desperados…
Sorry to assume, sure it feels tempting after seeing a bad roll. And if you are feeling desperate (reasonable) then it might seem like a good idea but a smaller German air force is worth any cost, particularly us subs and air. But yeah take your time and do whatever. I suppose if I completely whiffed round 2 I might retreat round 3.
Nah, you’re right. If I was really lucky, it’d be worth it, but there’s too much risk involved. Think it was a pretty close call, but there’ll be no scramble.

Tried not to take that into account. After reflecting on it I realize your argument is correct. Assuming is ok.
How do you think a situation with scramble option should be handled? Keep rolled dice, or re-roll the full battle if the assumption was wrong?
I dunno, if I had thought there was a chance you would scramble I would have waited. I don’t know what the official rule would be but id probably say keep what’s been rolled. Gives an advantage to the scrambler but the other person could have just waited and avoided the situation.

Yeah that’s fine. No German combat moves I’m worried about affecting things too much.

Think that would be the ruling, but if we’re in agreement, then no ruling is necessary. I’d say that it’s actually more fair to re-roll, since the defender shouldn’t be aware of the dice. And why you didn’t wait was because 6-8 h of likely unnecessary prolongation.

May I change my purchase with G? I was first setting up a position and then I realized that Berlin is in serious jeopardy, since I can’t block US landing in Denmark. Ergo need a tougher defense in Denmark and therefore an ab there.
I bought 24 inf, 2 fig. I’d like to exchange 1 fig and 3 inf for 1 ab and 1 mech.
I trust you’re ok with this, but if you’re not I’ll just have to completely change the NCMs in EU.

Thought I could attack Leningrad with that tr-inf, but seems I couldn’t, unless sacrificing the tr, which surely isn’t rational.
This is far stretched, but would you allow me to cancel the tr to z115? I don’t care about the dice, even if the russian inf had hit on defense, this would be my choice anyway, prefering to maybe sacrifice a fig instead. The 33 % risk makes it rational, I believe.
I’ll let the tr and inf stay as CM. If you allow the change, the tr would instead be in z112 and two more inf to Sweden.

Not completely sure about this, but that’s my initial prospect.
And of course would’ve attacked with 2 sb in Leningrad instead of that fig from Yugo. Don’t think that’s a big problem, since there were overkill air support most everywhere and that change would improve the odds in Leningrad.
