After reading the threads, I figured maybe this way would be best to find an artist who can help. I’m looking for someone to help our monastery finish it’s customization of AA Global 40 and possible help, with what is necessary, on the pieces for Global War 1936…… the more intricate, the more monks like games like this. We have lots of pieces that are donated and pretty interesting. We would be more than willing to give the leftovers away. The “Ratte” Landkreuzer P. 1000 tank is my favorite. We have 3
Sticky Infantry: Where Did I Go Wrong?
-
I bought and painted multiple infantrymen back in the springtime. After painting, I sprayed them with a clear coat and let them dry at room temperature for 7-10 days before boxing them up.
Over the last few months - and especially the last couple of weeks, which have brought quite a bit of rain here - I’ve noticed that these pieces get sticky when the humidity rises above a certain point. They stick to each other, to the plastic chips and to a lesser extent, the map. What did I do wrong, and how can I fix this?

I had a similar situation for some pieces I painted. I chalked it up to some paints or coatings are simply not compatible with the plastics of the pieces.
The pieces I had this issue with were not OOB, but aftermarket units (Airfix infantry units, IIRC).
This may or may not be related to your problem. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply, Navymule. The pieces I’m having problems with are Caesar Miniatures, so you may be on to something.
