I was kind of coming to the conclusion that Northern Ireland was not connected to SS9 on my own but good to get clarification. Makes sense, due to the way the map is drawn and the fact that you can’t go through neutral territories (Ireland).

I was confused by the rules for a while regarding that. I thought it was each group (all units that hit a 1, all units that hit at 2) roll for all the units.

When I moved on to Global 1940 and brought that mistake with me, it led to a problem where 12 US bombers (give or take) were unable to sink a Japanese fleet of 1 aircraft carrier, 1 destroyer, 2 fighters, and 1 battleship.

I figured it out later on, and I’ve been playing correctly for a year.

Yeah, well, there’s nothing rose in terms of accuracy. I’m waiting on people’s responses on the accuracy of War Room and Global War before thinking about purchasing them.

I don’t think they’ll change the unit values, but I do reckon the board will be the same physical size as the AA42 version albeit with possibly fewer game spaces. Also, I think we could be looking at the possibility of the land territories being worth more IPCs as well, in order to keep the cash generation going.
