Don’t you have to move the carrier to land the surviving tactical bomber from the attack on seazone 54?
From page 22 of the Pacific Rule book I found this:
You must have a carrier move, remain in place, or
be mobilized (new carriers only) to pick up a fighter
or tactical bomber that would end its noncombat
movement in a sea zone. You can’t deliberately move
an air unit out of range of a potential safe landing
space.
It was my original plan to do that, but I wasn’t able to, since I couldn’t clear the Java seazone. If there’s a way to catch it, I’d like to, but there’s no way I could see. The Tac only had one movement left.
So I was following that rule - there was a possible landing space at the time of combat movement, but since combat didn’t go my way, it was no longer possible.
I see, I missed that DD at Java. Thanks for the clarification :)
