Awesome, I hope to see you at this site in the future learning the game, and discussing strategies, don’t be intimidated by the complexity of it all… I’m still learning new things about the rules all the time. If you wish to correct a type O from a post you wrote, simply click the modify option in the top right corner of your message and edit it accordingly… Cheers.

  • Thank you!! I appreciate it. For some reason I really can’t wait to play as Italy. Any thoughts?

I will try a find you some good threads about Italy strategy.

  • Thank you. Do you reccomend going agter Gibraltar, Malta, Africa or Yugoslavia first? My armies in north it will attack so France but other then that I don’t know where to go first before the US attacks. And how do I avoid Taranto type attacks? Since it’ll be my first time I’m not sure if Germany can spare any fighters.

  • USSR: Build a catapult to throw men at the problem. Rifles optional. But seriously, stall the German advance with infantry. Gobs of infantry. You don’t necessarily want to win, you want to live long enough for the US and UK to save you. When the Germans start having to spread themselves thin, break through into Europe.

    That is so funny

  • Haha what I found funny is for the US to pee carriers. Interesting choice of words.

  • can any 1 post a link to where I can find new unit descriptions in the game like mech inf and tact bombers etc., that’d be helpful. Also if some one could post how kikazes work and what naval and air bases do that would be good. Thanks.

If you’re talking about how the units function, you’ll find them in the “Unit Profiles” section of the Europe 1940 and Pacific 1940 rulebooks, which are downloadable here:

If you’re talking about what the units look like, consult the Piece Directory table at the back of the rulebooks, or for large and more detailed silhouettes click on the charts in this thread to expand the pictures:
