  • Looking at the board.  If I run USA @ Japan, you have so many bullet catcher subs parked off the coast, plus six Kamikaze attacks, I lose my gear and you live. If I wait, you are going to attack with fifteen twos vs defend and let all the missile boats sink.  The Med is preventing me from getting US ground pounders into the Euro war.  From experience on other games, I believe Normandy is a death trap. Too far for resupply.  Would like to see a rule allowing US troops/transports to reach UK unescorted in first 3 rounds… maybe balance time of coming through UK.  UK is not going to retake India. And your use of cheap fast stuff is great - the mech and subs are everywhere and so many of 'em.  You totally out played me.

  • Thx Shrimp, good game. Remember you exposed some Russians early on, that was probably contributing to the game being difficult. I fully sympathize with your allied troubles, more than once I found myself in the same tight spot, not knowing what to do.
