    as do mine, as you can see. a 57% chance, and he loses 1 unit. i will admit, in this game you were due. but due for average dice, not that 5% result. the italians have been awful this game… first the egypt disaster, then this. oh well, at least the italian turns won’t take long. :roll:

    the italians continue their lame-ness … boy, turn 1 seems soooooo long ago. the worm has turned. your dice aren’t too much better (except in sz16!), but mine are sinking fast. “throttled” is the term that comes to mind…  :lol:

    interesting how this game works sometimes. you know how sometimes there are guys (or gals) you play and you always seem to get pretty decent dice, and they don’t. and then there are some people who just own you with their dice. perhaps i am slightly delusioned, but it sure seems that way. i suspect it also has something to do with confidence, which affects how cautiously or aggressively you play. but there have been guys i have played that are waaaaaaaaaaay better than me, and i kill 'em every time with dice. and then there are 3 or 4 guys that it’s just a waste of time to play – i get drilled every time, and it seems like the dice just haunt me.

    i thought i had a pretty good start in this one… i am guessing the straffing attempt by italy on I1 was not such a great idea, and i am paying dearly for it. but after that first turn, the dice are turning, and the last couple of turns i am getting nothing. of course, some of it has to do with your play,… but i just think it seems to me to be an interesting phenomena…

    anyway…
