Not garbage but not worth anything.

So I’ve been going thru the basement in a precursor to spring cleaning and summer improvement projects and I’ve developed and continuing to increase a pile of stuff that is ‘not garbage’ but neither is it worth anything.
So what the heck do I do with it?
Ideas, personal experience?

No, I mean things like a Thighmaster in original box. A box of swing music albums. A Speak & Spell.

ebay? Then you’ll find out how much of it is really “garbage.”

We take stuff out to the curb for spring cleanup. Usually someone takes it before the city garbage men do. It’s amazing. Even broken appliances are taken.

Yeah, I’d say ebay. Not only do you make some loot, you get rid of stuff. You’re apprehensive to get rid of it now, but ask yourself if you can see yourself using any of it in the next 3 months or if it’s something you will need or too sentimental that can’t be replaced. I think you’d be surprised and relieved to see all that stuff gone and money in your pocket.

I don’t think any of it is worth the time to put it up on eBay. We’re not talking an Anniversary Edition A&A set here. I don’t really see myself using it and I’m fairly certain I’m quite content to get rid of it. I just hate the idea of it going straight into the trash and added to being lazy you get hemming and hawing about it. I guess I’ll have to try a good old fashioned yard sale. Thanks for the help guys.
