Im not talking about a digital Map, but a real one. I consider myself very artistically minded so I think I could do it without it looking too bad. What materials would I need, how much time would it take? I wanna do a global map from about 1920.
Hi-Resolution Map
-
I was wondering if anybody has or knows where to find a hi-resolution picture of the retro 86’ style map? Any help would be appreicated! Thanks
-
Would you be interested in getting the actual gameboard? I would be willing to sell you one.
-
Actually I was planning on making a custom map, just with the original colors boarder shapes etc.
-
I would scan the original in and reconfigure it. Somebody should do this.

Shouldn’t there be a division between the sea zone that borders North Karelia and the one that borders the UK?
-
Thats a low res picture. Needs to be an actual scan of the actual map and parts linked together.
I tried it once and it didn’t come out too good
-
I have the original board. I might take it to a place and get it scanned hi-res if I can’t find one on the net.
-
Yeah, that’s the best I could do. Sorry I couldn’t give you a hi-res version, but I thought that a preview might be better than nothing.

Hmm, link isn’t working here at work, I might have to try it at home.

well the file is 111 MB. It will take time to DL. I have played it about 7 times. The setup is real easy and yet printing it on the map does not really take anything away from aesthetics.
I think i got some pics and ill have a look.

Very nice man, thanks. That’s exactly what I was looking for actually. If you can find those pictures that’d be awesome.
-
Very nice map, I was wondering is there also a version available without the setup and the IPC tracker? thanks
-
This version is slightly different than the one I have.
No npc chart, setup. Spain neutral, neutral afrika = british, birma was one zone instead of 3.What version is it then? :s
