Try playing a game with the AA Revised Enhanced Rules. With Combined Arms your BB get AA hits, and the German 88’s NA give your artillery a great punch.
Ok, New Revised Version but what about the computer version?

I have been in Japan the past 2 years so I am a bit behind in learning about the new release of AA Revised Edition by AH. I know you cannot get the old version of Axis and Allies to work on your computer without having to change your Directx versions and download patches to play on-line. I also see that Atari has “bought” the name “Axis and Allies” for a tactical-level computer game. With the advent of the Revised Version of AA, are there any efforts underway to make a computerized version we can play on-line again? The new Atari version looks like junk.

RTS “fun factor” is trash and has nothing to do with axis and allies at all. avoid it.

I wouldn’t say RTS fun factor is trash, but has nothing to do with A&A nontheless.
triplea.sourceforge.net will let you play the revised version online.

I played it on the hardest level on the “turn based” game and destroyed it the first time i played it. The AI is horrible.
