    Jwo1984 and others,

I spent 3 1/2 hours, yesterday, tracing the outlines of the OOB and HBG pieces and sent the drawings and 50 British pieces for the company in Houston to look at today.

The pieces and drawings should arrive early next week.

Now it is just waiting and seeing, if they can make the stickers that small.

I told them we need Union Jack Flags as well as round Union Jack stickers or decals.

Let us hope they can produce them. :-)

  • Awesome John brown! Thanks for really spear heading this project! Havin those Union jacks stickers too scale would be so helpful in so many ways for the brit pieces ! Keep us posted:)

I just hope my drawings weren’t a waste of time, because that was a lot of work, tracing those pieces and showing him how small we need these stickers.

I’m just keeping my fingers crossed. :-)

Does I 94 sell the yellow, blue, white and red roundels, or are those also being requested from this company?

I 94 sells everything, except Union Jack Flags or Round Union Jack stickers. Also. I 94 does not have the Chinese Symbol for the infantry, but Picoarmor does, so we are safe there. :-)

Update: The company in Houston received my 50 British pieces and inspected them for the stickers.

At this time, he is trying to see if he can make them small enough for the sides of cruisers, destroyers, subs, mechs, and smaller tanks. He says bigger tanks, infantry, carriers and battleships will probably not be a problem. I imagine that artillery and AAA Guns will not make the cut.

He says, the main issue is on some of these smaller pieces is that there has to be flat enough surface for these stickers to stick.

Right now, I’m basically a guinea pig to see how small a sticker, he can make.

Even, if he can’t make stickers that small, it gives us a source for our bigger pieces.

He has transparent and white backing, and says the transparent will always be cheaper.

He can’t give me prices till he sees what he can do.

I will update again, when I know more. :-)

    Thanks buddy! :-D

  • did you send him any british aircraft as well? too see if he can make sizes too fit Lancaster, Halifax, spitfire and the hurricane pieces.  Particularly on the fuselage of these planes where the union jacks are placed….I image the spitfire is just way to small I cant even attempt to paint a roundel on that fuselage.

Yes, I sent him all that, with drawings and everything. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Since, I’m not good at posting links and pictures, I will pm you for your address, and I’m going to send you a sheet of stickers for free, and I will let you decide if these stickers are going to be good enough for axis and allies.

Then, if you don’t mind post your feelings about them, once you received them and looked them over.

How is that? Will that work for you?

    Just let me know.

    Thanks,

    John :-)

  • Thanks John that’s awesome

Jwo and others, I finally will have an answer for you in a week on the Union Jack stickers. I will keep you posted. :-)

  • Great John brown! I will look forward too hearing what we have too work with

Alright everyone, I got some great news. I got the stickers back from the company, I have been working with for the last few months. They look great, but I’m giving the stickers to two of our very own painters on the forum to try out and see if they will work for us.

Jwo1984 and Spitfire38 will be getting these to test the durability and stability when placing these on their own pieces.

Since I’m not a painter, I decided that they could tell us best, if these stickers will be another source for us besides decals.

Like I told you before, this company is out of Houston, Texas and a guy named, Ray, is the owner.

The guys will post their findings, when they receive and place them on their own pieces.

Jwo1984, says he will take pictures of the stickers on the pieces, because photography is not my thing.

I hope the both of you like the stickers, because it took me forever to get this guy to understand what we need for axis and allies.

If this goes well, he will do other countries, as well as specialty sheets of stickers, for example, the RAF.

Guys, I look forward to hearing your findings. :-D

Fantastic! Thank you for all your work. I hope that they will work out, as that would be a good resource to have for this community.

I finally got pictures of the union jack stickers on 50 pieces to demonstrate, an alternative company, you can use. Instead of using decals, you can buy stickers for your axis and allied pieces. This took me months to get these stickers to show you guys, and now, I can finally show you, them.

I still think decals are better, but these can work. These do sometimes peel off on the edges, especially on uneven surfaces on the plastic, but they really do look good for stickers.

Ray, the owner, is willing to do all countries, as well as specialty stickers, like the RAF.

People have to contact him, if your interested in his stickers, and he will start making them, but if no one is interested, he will not make them.

His Ebay company name is tfkingdom for those of you that are interested in stickers.

So without further delay, here are the stickers, I’ve been talking about this whole time. Enjoy! :-D

  • So how much?

  • '18 '17 '16 '15 Customizer

    @R:

    So how much?

He offered me 2 sheets for $10.00. I don’t know if that will be the asking price, or if he just gave me a good deal. I don’t remember how many stickers were on the sheet, but Spitfire38 can let me know, by counting his sticker sheet. I know, there is at least 50 stickers on the sheet or more.
