Changes to the next version of TripleA to consider…

Ahh OK thanks I know how to change the icons now.  I did it for Global 1940 this way:

1. unzip the World War II Global file in c:/users/YOURNAME/trimple/maps
2. change the names of the icons in c:/users/YORNAME/triplea/maps/WorldWar II Global/units/Americans
3. did this for all the powers
   I found that changing “cruiser” to “cruiser_x” and the “battlecruiser” to “cruiser” worked great.  Thanks!

(Yes, I’m too lazy to adjust everything manually, but it would also be necessary to adjust the turn order.)

The setup has been changed; here is the corrected game setup as provided on Larry’s site:

But I think this is not a matter of a new version of TripleA but just another game.xml to add to the Global1940 map.

Yes.  It would just need to be set up as a new XML so that it is selectable as a different mod.
