@SuperbattleshipYamato Yeah I get you 100%. Alternate History is a niche interest in the first place so finding other people willing to go down the rabbit hole is always tough.
One for the bucket list

Stumbled onto this and thought you guys would find it interesting. It scares me to think how much some of these would cost (32 day tour?), but when I retire and crack open the 401k it may be something worth looking into.

It sounds like it would be cheaper if you just did it yourself.

32 day tour is $20k. Not too bad considered it includes all your meals, hotels, travel, admissions, planning etc,
You’re right it is probably cheaper to do on your own, but I think you’d get WAY more out of it if you did it with the tour group, they know exactly where to go and what to see, and will show you what you didn’t know about etc to maximize your enjoyment.
$20k though…

$20k though…
I know, right!? You could buy 40 copies of A&A Anniversary for that… :-P

shares of AA50 have fallen to $90USD so the vacay could provide 222 copies of AXA to a dojo training new initiates like the Jedi academy in clone wars

Not all shares have fallen so low…

{Link to an eBay auction for the 2017 reprint of AA50 with a “Buy It Now” of $699.95 and a “Make Offer” button underneath…}Of course, I got both a brand-new 2017 copy and picked up a used 2008 copy for less than $200 for both. I love this reprint… :-D
