In sea zones where opposing sides border the same sea zone, total up the adjacent land IPC value and the side with the highest value can place units in that sea zone.
-
We said because France, England and Germany border SZ 110 that it was better to keep it off limits. It prevents the allies from stacking navies together right off the bat was another reason we decided it was off limits.
-
then why wasnt this included in the rules at the beginning, i copied the rules from the reply that YOU posted, and that rule wasnt anywhere in it……

Might have been agreed to after that set was posted. I just remember it being there to prevent confusion. Like, I could put 3 destroyers in SZ 110 for Germany and on Round 1 attack the carriers in SZ 105. I probably won’t, but the option is there because of Holland.
Forgot map on last post, attached.

map error, there are 7 armor attacking England, not 6.
-
uhm…… there are several zones that dont meet the required infantry numbers. for example:
germany
southern germany
holland
norway
manchuria
korea
japanEach territory with an IPC value of 2 thru 5 must have Infantry (Mechanized or regular) in a quantity of at least one less than the IPC value of the territory
Territories with an IPC value higher than 6 must have at least 5 Infantry (see the United States mainland) -
Pretty sure we had said at least one infantry.
Okay, adjusted the infantry accordingly by pulling infantry from coastal China and Siam and pulling infantry off the front lines with Russia.
Does not alter the combat moves, do you scramble?
-
If japan needs 7 infantry (unclear as to how you were listing it) then move a couple armor to Chinese territories and move a couple infantry to Japan…but extrapolating from USA, it seems the 5 there are enough.
-
i guess i wont scramble…
