Started to paint some troops….

Hi there,

First of all I must defend myself :) I am not an artist by any means. I have no skill in this, but for the love of the game I will try anyway :)
I have started to paint some of my troops for A&A Global1940…
This is how far I have gotten so far. Please say something, and be gentle…

No by any means close to Pyle1999, but hey, it´s fun anyway :) Give me your 5 cents on this project…

Check the colors on the uniforms of the infantry. The Germans look ok, but with proper color it will be better. Perhaps a few accents more to the face ( darker color flesh tone), plus gun and belt detail. Boots should be black and gun black with some silver.

I might get into more details. But as I said, not an artist, and since there are 600+ pieces to paint, and I have a real job as well :)

WOW!  Those look pretty fabulous.  Especially impressed with the US carriers.  One question, is the star supposed to be at the aft end of the flight deck?  If so, they are great.  If the star is supposed to be at the forward end of the flight deck, then your carriers are backward.  US carriers had the conning tower on the right side of the ship.  I think the Japanese were the only ones with the conning tower on the left side.
