@barnee
I don’t understand what you mine
New Major Complex pieces!
-
We are making ICs, Naval Bases, Air bases, AA guns etc… as the LAST set.
But I will use these until that is ready.
I haven’t checked your thread on the subject, but is there an ETA for these pieces and/or the next national set?
ITALY Sculpts are finished and going into production this month. Germany Sculpts are being developed now.

Bump!
-
Nice! Now where the hell is one of them there F A X machines…
-
I had a brainwave looking at the pieces that come with the new version of Risk - their “city” pieces are perfect as Major Industrial Complexes!
The cost is $2.50 for 15 cities (you get a set of blue arrows as well, they are in the same bag):

Or for those of us too cheap to buy Risk pieces, you can always just use monopoly houses and hotels for minor and major complexes.
-
Mighty cheap that would be - at $2.50 shipped! Plus, they are made by the same factory that makes A&A pieces (bag numbers match). It makes for easy recognition.
-
Here’s two pics of them in action:

I take it I want to order the Bgd Blue Armies Capital and 15 Gray Cities?
-
That’s it! :-)
-
Does anyone know if these are still sold and what you would ask for from Hasbro? They now only take phone orders and this SKU# is no longer in the system.
Thanks!

The pieces are from this version of the game…

…which as far as I know can still be purchased retail.
Also note that the Metal Gear Solid edition of Risk has these interesting city sculpts:

Don’t forget Historical Board Gaming is selling a facilities set later in the year. Keep an eye out for that. :-)

Thank you very much for the replies guys. Do we have any idea what the HBG pieces will look like at this point?
Thanks again!

There is a picture, if you go to their website. It looks really cool. I would give you a link, but I never learned how to do links on a computer.
Maybe someone can be kind enough to provide you a link or just go to the website and look under battle pieces, I believe, at Historical Board Gaming.
Good luck! :-)

I hope

Found the picture John.
I do know how to add a link, but I guess I don’t have authorization at this point to add it in the forums.
Your right it looks very cool.
Thanks Again,
Jon

Once you reach a certain number of forum posts (I think it’s 10), you’ll be able to post pictures via the “Additional Options” feature below the typing window.

Thanks Paul for the links! This will give him another option to look at. :-)

And,
––Here are some ‘comparison’ pics of them with the OOB Factory.
----As you can plainly see,…the ‘Minor Factory’ is quite a bit smaller than the ‘Major Factory’,
as well as the OOB Factory and therefore makes it an EXCELLENT choice.“Tall Paul”
