    Oh no, what a blunder! I tried to avoid your landmines, so at first, my moves were not passing them. But after I made my pre-combat moves, I figured it would be best if I attack your army with an army of my own, not realizing that the army had to pass them through your minefields, urghh…

    Kind of a cheesy move, because you had four LMs, and on average you would have gotten a hit, deforming my army.

    What we could do to punish this is that we say I moved two infantry from E.POL to Belarus for support, and that you got two mine hits. So simply we remove two German infantry from the front line and say the Army was kept intact, to not make things overly complicated lol. :)

    No, I didn’t want to move the guys in Karelia and Vyborg because then you can place partisans there, and be annoying :)

    well if you really want, you can roll for the 4 LMs and deduct any hits from novgorod. As i said above though, I wasn’t expecting to win that battle and if we rerolled it, i probably wouldn’t, so I’m fine just to let it play as is :)

  • Lol I was imitating a stoner again and made a couple of small mistakes, which I needed to edit. I’ll briefly explain.

    I accidentally clicked on yes for bombardment in the battle of Shan State, while this is not what my intention was. I tried removing the BB before the battle in the hope it would not fire its die, but it still did and scored a hit. Still think I would have gotten a hit with the other units, but it is still annoying. Also used edit to move the DD, which could not move, even though it cannot bombard lol.

    Second, I forgot which naval units I was getting at the end of this round, and it turned out it was a transport. I already bought one, so I removed that one and changed it out for an infantry, and added +3 PUs for Japan.

    Alright one infantry in Belarus died. You may decide where the infantry gets removed from, Novgorod or E.Pol. I would say E.Pol is more realistic as I would’ve moved infantry from E.Pol to Belarus in order to avoid casualties in my Waffen Army, but in cases like this you may decide, since I broke the rules so I have no rights :)


  • @victoryfirst E POL is fine :+1: Just a reminder that probably isn’t necessary :) there was only one rd of combat so, leaving the commiesar alive is fine, but if there were more rds and the Corps deformed, you have to kill the commiesar or he’ll keep giving his bonus. Then you can edit back in after battle if needed.

    As I said though, you already know that lol

    @VictoryFirst so, my understanding of the NAP between soviets and nippon, is that allied troops are allowed in russia, if allied, but can’t cross the border into china until ussr and JPN at war.

    Is that how you see it ?

    No scramble in sz 97. Yeah, the rules are a bit ambiguous about that I find, so I think what you said makes the most sense. Allied troops are allowed to move into Russia, but not to attack China through Russia.
