There are three TripleA maps played in the league:
- World War II Global 1940 2nd Edition (standard, out of the box rules)
- World War II Global 1940 Balanced Mod3 (https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/27451/g40-balance-mod-rules-and-download)
- WW2 Path to Victory (https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/35323/ww2-path-to-victory-rules-discussion)
The games are competitive but friendly, if you fancy playing any of those games then it is the place to do it.

Howdy,

happy new year first of all!
Are you still looking for a game?
If so, I would recommend to play The Captains Expansion!
It got a lot of new units and game mechanics, that lift global40 to a complete new level!
All the rules may seem overwhelming at the beginning, but all the new units are intuitiv and “self-explaining” (paratroops can land behind enemies lines, German U-boats can form a Wolfspack, Armies and Army Groups can be formed etc.)

If you are interessted, let me know and I will be happy to start a game and guide you through the first steps.

Hi, new to tripleA but played a lot of A&A. I’m looking for (a) player(s) that would be interested in trying some of the advanced non-modern scenarios people have made.

In particular I am interested to try, Age of Tribes, A Song of Icce and Fire, Jurassic, but would be down to try pretty much anything.

If we are playing 1941, I suggest that the game rules are calibrated in a specific way for the game balance’s sake. These recommendations come from an experienced A&A player.

Which scenario are we playing?
a) 1941
b) 1942

How many Victory Cities will we play to?
a) 13 cities
b) 15 cities
c) 18 cities (until concession)

Research and Development allowed?
a) Yes
b) No

National Objectives allowed?
a) Yes
b) No

Dardanelles closed to sea movement? *
a) Yes
b) No

Fighter Escorts and Interceptors allowed? *
a) Yes
b) No
