    A puzzling move that makes about as much sense to me as taking Eire. Though you do have a good convoy blockade setup there.


  • There’s a point to it, though I’m not certain its good enough. Taking Eire is mainly about having a landing spot for air if getting attacked. And getting the fleet there is mainly about convoy disruption.

    Ahh yes, I forgot about the needing a spot to land. I thought you were going to try and combine with the Italian fleet earlier, but now am not sure if a big German fleet is worth the investment. You are denying a couple NOs and preventing me from doing a good Atlantic convoy, but the British can do pretty well mostly buying units in the Middle East I hope (and maybe the occasional UK plane)
