Not sure if I ever experienced a more utterly disaster in UK1. Having the sub succeed in 110, losing the bomber, getting another sub defense it in 118. Can’t count what the odds are.
Given the strategic implications of that turn, the +12 was turned into -40 at least. The game is totally wrecked in Europe already. Happy pounding from here. Allies in suicide mode in turn 1.

True. Was considering using the sub on either the cr or bs. Both had merit, but that would just need access to more air, which I didn’t really have. The nazis are pretty pleased to have drowned those inf. ;)
I believe it actually reflects a bit of the evacuation of Dunkerque, except that this time the germans succeeded a bit more. Hitler was promised by Göring that the Luftwaffe would take care of the british soldiers, instead of risking soldiers, but he didn’t apply it quickly enough and 338 000 soldiers got away over the English Channel in private boats over 9 days. They had expected to be able to save 45 000 over 2 days.
N.B. the 4 japanese tr’s have each 1 inf on them. I know TripleA will screw this up.
