A reasonable outcome would’ve been that Italy and UK both lost 2 figs first and then only a 33 % risk for G to lose a plane.
That would be +12 for the Axis. A 20 TUV-swing. That’s a freakin’ lot for such a small battle.

Anyway, that german inf was a risk, but I considered it a bait. Wanted UK to attack z97 so Axis could get rid of or decimate the fleet. It was however extremely costly.
