not being able to take Yunnan certainly didn’t help. but also there’s not really enough pressure from the US to potentially cause trouble for Japan if like in this situation it decides to pounce on uk pac. plus not enough uk air and ships around to help deter.

i guess i just never seem to be able to get enough in range on j4 after a j3 DOW so I wasnt worried about it but I guess thats because I always go for Phi and everything. doesnt look good thats for sure.

yah it’s always a possibility you have to look out for, i.e., Japan may not always go for the money islands and instead go all out on uk pac. just requires some prep to prevent that from happening. this is where experience and awareness helps.
