    I posted Italy twice. Noticed that Jpn had built mech in Jpn and art in China and edited to reverse locations. But when I redid Italy NCM, had trouble transporting troops in Italy > Albania by bridge move. Couldn’t unload, even tho NCM, no enemy ships, tt had movement. Had to edit the unloading.

    I was pleasantly surprised by the large number of inf Rus put on the front line terr. Perhaps to prevent an Ita move. So Ita moved south. Ger had enough troops to put more than the minimum needed to take the front line territories and still advance its main army into Belarus with enough to resist a counterattack. Ger built no ground troops this turn and only 1 last turn. Might be a mistake, but I now have a large air force and can hold off the U.S. fleet.

    Jpn didn’t look as robust as in most of my games. Usually have most of my air force next to Yunnan. But with careful allocation, I was able to finish the conquest of China and have a reasonable number of units in Yunnan. Also forced my way into Rus. Last turn, I put half the fleet off by Sum just to take it. But that meant it couldn’t reach Phil to combine with the other fleet. Phil fleet too weak by itself to resist Amer, so luckily, I had just enough dd’s to use as blockers. Will be cheaper than losing the fleet in battle. My position looks better now, and gained enough terr to offset the loss of the 10 point N.O.

    Sank the ANZ CV fleet. Couldn’t take my sub as a hit, because only your planes hit, not your ships. So I had to take a plane as a hit. But worth it.

    Rus rolled 3 for 3 in W. Ukr (expected 1 for 3). I attacked with 5 units, power 16 and only rolled 2 hits. I didn’t want to expend as many ground units as I attacked, so I didn’t count on taking W. Ukr. But I did expect to kill all the defenders. Instead, I had to take a plane besides my ground troops.

    I wanted to build ten mech in Ger, because I had stopped reinforcing the Russian front for 2 turns. But your smart move to block my subs with your dd, meant that I couldn’t sink your tt with just bombers, even though your fleet is weak. One tt wasn’t the problem, but the 4 RAF ftrs that could reinforce an amphib landing in Norway, would have been a problem. Also, I had to defend Norm and W. Ger. from your bomber and troops. Anyway, the bombers were needed to maintain the border. The Luftwaffe in N. Africa couldn’t make it back to Ger this turn. But the Fuhrer expects the Italians to carry more of their own weight in N. Africa, to free up the Luftwaffe for the eastern front.
