RE: Honolulu
Ahhh thanks, I see the point of the squares and dots.
The VC status of Honolulu is a bit more peculiar to me. The city is not mentioned on page 6 of the rule book as a Victory city……From page 6:
“On the map are twelve victory cities crucial to the war effort. As the game begins, each side controls six of these cities. The Allies begin the game controlling Washington, London, Leningrad, Moscow, Calcutta, and San Francisco. The Axis powers begin the game controlling Berlin, Paris, Rome, Shanghai, Manila, and Tokyo. The standard victory condition is if your side controls nine (9) victory cities at the end of a complete round of play (after the completion of the U.S. turn), you win the war.”

Honolulu
Why is Honolulu marked on the map if it isn’t a VC city……at least not according to the rule book? And what is the reason for some cities being marked with a square others with a roundel? Thanks

RE: Japan DOW on US
Thank You. That’s what I thought, but there is every reason to attack UK as well, clearly😊

Japan DOW on US
Sure it is here somewhere but I can’t find it.
Will a Japanese Dow/attack on the US automatically bring UK/ANZAC into the war, even though latter territories/units are not attacked?
Thanks

No American upgrade
Hi…
Am currently into a game on TripleA playing as the Allies (map, World war ll Global 1940 2nd edition) version 3.9. (Out of box version )
In the third round, during the collect income phase as the Americans, the program correctly declares war on Axis powers. All fine until now, however no auto upgrades of Factories happen during fourth round, I`m sure all three American Factories should be up to production capacity of 10 by now.Any ideas??

RE: MOVIES 2018
Saw “Darkest Hour” nominated for 6 Oscars last night……excellent movie on UK politics, May of 1940, can highly recommend it…Gary Oldman does a fantastic job as Winston Churchill.
