      Any war against the USA will get nowhere fast without the Money Islands. Therefore, attacking UK/ANZAC is an absolute must, so that you can rake in that badly needed +20 IPCs.

      Yep….Eventually I am properly going to go for the expensive, yet more enjoyable version of Global with HBG supplys to fill in the empty gap’s…and they are many in regard to Global 1936!! Collecting and customizing is actually part of the enjoyment, when no games are up anyway, so I don’t mind if my quest for pieces is prolonged…as long as my Risk pieces haven’t occupied my A&A board.

      plus the ships tend to get re-knocked back over when you re-org them, which causes some confusion

      also we tip pieces over that are allocated to NCM early (usually infantry/destroyer placeholders/blockers, to avoid moving them twice) so tipping would mean two different things…

      You also want to be careful that you don’t immediately lose your capital. If that happens, the income you’ve earned goes to the other side, plus any of your territories that have been retaken by your allies after your capital loss revert to your ownership, which is not what you would want - better to have them earning income for your allies.

      With no previous experience regarding TripleA, what will be the minimum specs running the program at a decent level? About to buy a PC mainly for Email use, various text programs, and possibly A&A!

      The program appears to written in Java.Ā  I can’t imagine you need anything special from a hardware stand point to run it.

      It has occurred to me that a good way to balance this game would be to simply remove the Chinese movement restrictions. It would allow more options for the Allies to reinforce Calcutta or Moscow or to refocus on the European theater sooner.

      And it would give good reason for Japan or any Axis force for that matter to destroy China since China is the only nation that cannot be truly destroyed.

      ā€œYou canļæ½t move sea units through a canal or narrow strait that is controlled by a neutral territory or by a power with which you are at war.ā€

      And besides, why would a nation at war even allow its enemy to cross and even for that matter, why would you even let them get close AND why doesn’t the enemy just take the straight or canal?

      There is a special rondel shaped land-bridge that connects the non-island of Ireland to Scotland.Ā  But, not in real life.Ā  So you can drive across that, though why is a different question.

      However, the Aleutian Islands are islands–you can’t drive there as I once allowed the crew to do.Ā  Which makes it especially annoying for Japan to take, since it requires an amphib to regain your NO.Ā  HTH
