if you count the regular income from all nations together you come up to 149 IPCs. With the national Objectives you get an possible additional income of somewhat around 90 IPC at maximum. So if noone saves any money ever the maximum you’ll need at one point is somewhere around 240 IPCs. Now you might want to count in some savings and the possibility to change between the different denominations.
I guess to be on the sure side you should have about 350 IPCs. How many of which denominations depends a bit on what you and your buddies prefer. Would you want to have more then 10 1-IPC-bills? Or do you change those anyway to a 5 or 10-IPC-bill? And so on :wink:
What do we want in AAE40 that we didn't get in AAP40?
-
@c64:
I tell what I don’t want in AAE40 : A lonely russian sub in the Barents Sea.
Please, please, please. This sub has always been useless since AA was born.HUH ? Come on mate, that sub is the most important piece in the game. I use to name it “Red Octobre” and pretent Sean Connery is the captain, and then I sail it around the globe.
-
Yep, that sub often did me a lot of good. Killing lonely German subs, reinforcing the British fleet, restricting German sea movement, stiuff like that.
And BTW, what are ACME walls? Territories China can’t enter?
-
How about air to air combat rules? I want the Battle of Britain. Maybe tweeking the airbase rules a bit could achieve this.
-
It seems that everyone wants a lot more than AAP40 provided. Keep the list coming.
-
Chinese coloured fighter and artillery (although I never get to buy any).

Chinese fighters in Europe ? I’m not too sure about this, but hey, now that Volvo is Chinese, why not. :-)

Roger that. The primary role of ftr AC is to kill other ftrs and, in doing so, establish & maintain air supremacy.
While the scale of combat is very elastic it still bothers me to have hostile air strafing at each other’s PBI while blissfully tipping wings at each other.

:-)
I got a bit carried away with things that could be done better and forgot that it was only for Europe…
-
Well maybe they could throw in some added AAP40 pieces in the AAE40 game to make up for their shortsightedness.

they’ll probably provide double the number of French tac bmrs and call it even.
-
Yeah French tac bombers that won’t even get up in the air to fight.

of course not, Monsieur!
how can you fly with both hands raised!
Sacre bleu! -

Falling from an airplane :-D
Now that’s funny! :-D
-

Bingo! I call ACME walls because China (as W.E. Coyote) cannot pass them and Japan (the roadrunner) can merrily pass them with a beep! beep!
-
This is why they should sell game pieces seperately.

@Brain:

But that will never happen as long as people like me keep buying several copies of the same game. I dont care if you are un-employed and can only afford one copy of the game. I just want enough pieces to fulfill a decent set-up and purchase whatever units I want without writing the units name down on a bit of paper.

Yes, I can also buy as many copies as I want but that doesn’t mean I should have to or that anyone else should . WOTC should be more concerned about making their customers happy.
