Can't login with Icloud account

Tried to login using my icloud account and it keeps telling me either forbidden or gives me an error code. Any help would be great! Thank you

@Whops Can you please elaborate on the situation a little bit more. You bought an iOS version and trying to log in for the first time? Do you have a PC version? Can you post a screenshot of your issue?

@JuliusBorisovBeamdog I bought the game on steam and downloaded it to my mac. When I go to login to an existing account using my apple icloud account because I already have an account set up through my phone with the game on there it gives me this.

@Whops Alright. Please create a separate Commander Name and ID on your Mac and let me know what that is, as well as what your iOS Commander Name and ID are. I’ll merge the accounts manually. What should be the main account?
