Yeah I think the game is pretty fun. I like how the different alliances affect each nation’s strategies. Russia is having some fun while the Germans are building up the Kriegsmarine, which are things you will never see in a standard G40 game.
I’m not sure about balance, I thought the 200% income for the Armies would be a bit too strong but the TUV and income numbers are still in favor of the Navies. We’ll see how it goes!

I changed my mind on purchases at the end. I don’t think they were influenced by the battle at all (let me know if you want more information).
Almost immediately after I did it, I wasn’t sure whether making all strict neutrals pro-Armies was a bit much. Then again, the Allies do benefit from it (South America, Angola, Mozambique). 200% income is certainly quite a lot, but the Armies got stomped quickly without it in my playtesting and I’m not a fan of decimals. What are your thoughts on balancing this?
I am not sure. The game looks a lot more balanced now with the 200% income. The Armies now have a slight economic advantage while the Navies have much more TUV (but of course, most of that comes from naval units).
I think having all the neutrals interact in the game is pretty fun. I’ve always wanted to march to Sweden or to Spain but have never been able to by the rules. I think at this point a bid could be used to make the final balancing tweaks.

I was looking at the Global 1940 map and rules again, but it seems like a fighter in New Zealand can fly to Southeast Mexico in 1 turn.
By going 63-50-51-64-Southeast Mexico.
These rules (https://store-kftzvkkgjv.mybigcommerce.com/content/File Storage for site/Rulebooks/Axis Allies/A%26A_Pacific1940_2ndEd_Rulebook_WEB.pdf) on page 35 clearly state that sea zone 51 is connected to sea zone 64. It seems like the problem is with the map’s design being inconsistent with the code, rather than the other way around.
There’s no reason to change my moves now, but it’s still worth bringing up for future use.
