@Nuts I’m proud that they went with a D10 right in the face of releasing their “battle dice” accessory product.

It should go without saying- but it definitely doesn’t- great design should trump a marginal increase in sales. I don’t expect companies to sacrifice significant financial incentives for the sake of minor improvements, but in the world I work in (consumer electronics) it’s often the case that they’re willing to sacrifice significant design improvements for even the potential of a minor financial gain. Good on you, Renegade.

I have my 7-foot long 1940 Global Map on pre-order. Looking forward to getting it so that when my son returns home from college in December, we can break it in and use it for the first time.

I actually have three tall square pub tables that when all put together, will fit this map on top.

Currently all files are from 2021.

However I have not had time to check whether they inlclude any new wording.
But it is always a good idea to be up to date.

One thing I’ve been wondering is why can’t you buy WofTC stuff including Avalon products directly from the company?  Did they screw themselves by signing all sorts of restrictive distribution agreements with wholesalers?

Seems like a big mistake if they did. Probably contributes a serious percentage cost to the end product. Imagine buying 1940 2nd for $50 right from WofTC. Or replacement pieces right from them.

Who knows, maybe they are trying to shutter the A&A brand so their distributors let go of their contracts?  Maybe too savvy for them.

They are identical front and back, yes.

Most people playing 1940 Global end up getting 2 sets. Your mileage may vary.

One base set = 25 x 1’s, 15 x 5’s and 10 x 10’s
Mini upgrade = 25 x 25’s

When the sets were created it was intended for Anniversary edition and one set has worked quite well for us with that setup, as well as 1942 and 1941.
