  • @wizmark Well I definitely underestimated how quickly Japan can take their VCs. Good game. Nothing I can do to stop you from getting it in two. I shouldn’t have gone KGF. Good game. Any tips for me? I’m still pretty new to this game and you seem pretty good.


  • @al3xanderthegr8 Hey there…GG. Allies are hard in OOB, all the momentum and money seems to be with the Axis, but with the right plays and some luck you can win with them. The more games you play you will recognise the key areas that have to be defended and those that can be abandoned.

    You have recognised a KGF doesnt work…Japan gets too big too fast. The US has to pump money to grow the pacific fleet fast and fight over the money islands. You cant let them have a free hand, as you can see J can win in 6/7 turns. Germany needs many more turns to win, even after taking moscow you still need london or egypt, which can be tricky to get to.

    Review some of the posted game results… AndrewAAgamer is a master of OOB play, Farmboy consistently wins as allies. Adam514 is one of the best league players there is.

    AndrewAAgamer has also written a masterful insight into the mechanics of the game, a long but very worthwhile read which you can find in his profile.

    If you want to swap sides with the same bid I’m happy to play again so you can see from the other side.
