    @aagamerz13 i downloaded a new version of triple a. it is a pre release version but it seems to be working now for me.

  • ok that’s my issue you are using version 2.6 whereas version 2.5 is the official one. I’ll have to load 2.6 prerelease. It’s backward compatible but not forward compat

  • @aagamerz13 Hi. can you use this version https://triplea-game.org/download/ to open my g1 save and do your r1 turn? Then post the save manually as I did. The pre release version is not working for me

    @aagamerz13 so unfortunately I am still getting the same issue as before. In order to find your g1 upload to make my russian moves I had to right click on the link and save as to my desktop. Once the download finished I opened TripleA separately and clicked Open Saved Game and selected the download located on my desktop.

    That was using the pre-release version of TripleA. For whatever reason I am unable to get version 2.5 to work. What version does it say you have when you open it up? I am really confused as to why the forum works for some but not others.

    We could also try play by email? I assume it works similar to play by forum.

    @aldoraine I basically followed the instructions given my panther in this link to get it to work using version 2.6. https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/topic/37965/error-posting-to-forum/18?_=1667580120082

    I tried this as well using the version 2.5 but no luck.


  • it says version 2.5.22294 when I open it. If that works for me it should also work for you. try uninstalling 2.6 and all other versions of aaa then install 2.5.22294


  • again, dont use forum save. just open and save manually–> left click on the g1 save, once dl is complete then click on it, then select play by forum using 2.5.22294

    @aagamerz13 is this what you mean? you save the game and then attach the file to a reply manually correct? I assume the dice rolls still show up in the server since this is how you did g1 correct?
