@crockett36
This seems interesting. I’ll try it out.
Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion
-
I can’t remember if I asked you but have you considered limiting the Hvy BBs to where they can be built ?
112 and 113 for G
101 and 10 for USA
6 for JPN -
Originally the Super Heavy Battleship units had to be produced in a Capital (USA could also produce them in sz 10).
But during play testing we experienced that the production capacity of the Capitals were already under pressure due to the multiple units that can only be produced in a Capital.
This is true especially for Germany.Nonetheless - our game experience shows that in more than 90 % of all games the Super Heavy Battleship units are produced in the sea zones mentioned above.
So, we decided to let each player decide where to produce the Super Heavy Battleship units.

Air Fleet Commander & Air Fleet:
Rules, Markers and Game Boards have been attached to the Axis & Allies Global 1940 House Rules Expansion at the top og pg. 1 in this thread.

Just checking out the Air Commander.
So Ftr Ace can be part of the Fleet but it would get no bonus rolls. Only a Ftr or a Tac would, along with the AC itself. In the rare instance of 3 Ftr Aces in the Fleet, which only Germany can do, only the AC gets a bonus roll
An AC can be on a CV, it just can’t command a Air Fleet from there. It would fight as a normal Ftr.
That right ?
Edit
So if I had AC, Ftr and 2 Tacs in the Fleet, I could designate the Tac as the bonus roll and I would have 2 A3 for the AC 2 A4 for the Tac and a normal A3 and A4 for the last Ftr and TacEdit 2
Oh the AC can’t be supporte by a Tac.Edit 3
Just saw there’s a separate thread for this. I’ll post any follow up questions there.
