Yup, but given that it’s a practice game at this point, would you not rather try out your ideas and learn more about the game, or would you rather flip the dice and let marti decide instead? Given the level I believe you’re at, which is at or very close to mastery, I think you should only consider large risky battles if you’re losing and desperate, which here I don’t believe you are in that situation.

Well I didn’t say it’s the worst move, just extremely dicey/risky, as all large naval battles are. I mean the odds are in my favor with a favorable average score for me, and I get that you have a decent follow up with Anzac, but at the same time with all the German support nearby, I think you might need your air power more than I would.

yeah i just figure it might still take you a minute to get going and US can more easily replace losses than Japan. And while Germany can do some work over in pac I dont think it can do enough soon enough. But I will wait. But I dont think its the worst move. If its at all average I think it works out ok. But as you said battles this size can get lobsided quick.
