AAZ / AAD & J.J. Abrams
-
I don’t know if this movie has already been mentioned on this forum in connection with AAZ, but I heard this morning that J.J.Abrams is producing a D-Day zombie movie titled “Overlord.” It’s being released in the fall of 2018, which is also when AAZ is supposed to be released; I don’t know if that’s a coincidence, though this would have looked even more likely if WotC had produced a zombie version of A&A D-Day rather than of an A&A global game. Oddly enough, the thread on the Polygon article about AAZ (https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=42160.0) is titled “Polygon A&A&Z article, June 6, 2018”, and June 6 is the date of D-Day. Anyway, I’ve posted a couple of links below:
–----------------
On the eve of D-Day, American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission crucial to the invasion’s success. But as they approach their target, they begin to realize there is more going on in this Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. They find themselves fighting against supernatural forces, part of a Nazi experiment.

I’m beginning to think Nazis and Zombies go together like Peanut Butter and Jelly.
