Playing Axis & Allies with TripleA
-
Hi. In the past, I have played Axis & Allies (TripleA) on my computer but now I have a new computer, Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 and it doesn’t work. Is there another way to play Axis & Allies on my Mac?

I dont know if this is serious or a joke but about two years ago I was able to play TripleA with my other Mac.

You can consider my attempts to help as serious.
I have never used Macs but this thread came to my mind…

I think your attemps was serious but I find it bizarre. Thanks for your help. I’m never going to change my PC for a Mac. It will never happen ;)

There is nothing bizarre on this part of the posting linked above:
Alternative instructions for unblocking TripleA:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5290
1. Open up “Gatekeeper”
Gatekeeper options are found in Apple menu > System Preferences… > Security & Privacy > General tab under the header “Allow applications downloaded from:”2. Change “Allow Applications Downloaded From:” to “Anywhere”
3. You should now be able to open and use TripleA (and any other software).
Did you try that?
Also be sure to have the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment installed.
I don’t know which version comes preinstalled with your OS.
