The pre-digital printing technique that was originally used in comic books (among other applications) is called halftone printing, or halftoning; raster imaging is its digital equivalent. Roy Lichtenstein once painted a giant comic strip panel titled Whaam!, and I think Andy Warhol was also fond of producing oversized images in which the halftone dotting effect was magnified.
Map Customization

I have not been online here much at all nor for a long time. I have two questions…
- Is this the topic site for map customization?
- Where or under what topic site should I be placing an idea for creation of ‘Randomized Landmasses’ with which to play A&A. :
Any answer/help would be appreciated.

Any customization is welcome on this thread.
Your other question would probably go in one or two places.
You can either ask your question on the thread, "other axis and allies variants, " or the thread, "house rules, " which might be a better place for it.
That would be my guess, but others may have suggestions as well.
I hope that helps. :-)
