I think you are OK with enlarging the maps for your own personal use. Is not an infringement unless you distribute them or imply they are your creation and not WotC. Wizards has a fairly comprehensive “Fan site Policy”, check it out here: http://www.wizards.com/fankit/fantoolkitdnd.html

I remember in the 90s Kinkos wouldn’t photocopy anything that looked like it had a copyright without “permission.” If you’re having trouble getting stuff copied for personal use just print out that link that Field Marshall posted.

They still do that. I got a number of emails over the years where people wanted to print some of my map files and got told they needed “permission from the company”…. huh?
Then the other thing is they don’t have any programs…even PDF and ask “Can you get us a jpeg?” What a joke!
