“The War Game” and others address this by letting you buy all the units for every team, with different costs. So China pays 8 for tanks, Most powers pay 6, Germany 5 etc. This makes things more complex, but also more flexible.

Everyone,
––I’ve updated my “List of Units” to include the German Armor that Wil Tan has finished detailing(see message #7, this thread) and has sent to Lucas Hoffman for detail painting/decalling.
––Lucas is also working on several other units himself, including several
U.S. Navy/Marine Aircraft. I’ve listed all of them as Coming Soon  in order to let you know what these two craftsmen have been working on.
––Go “Team War Machine!” :-D
––I suggest you check-out their web-sites to keep abreast of what they’re doing. Their work is fascinating!“Tall Paul”

Stuarts for Pauls A&A Army
HBG Stock Stuart in Green, Marine M3, Army M3A1, and Commonwealth Stuart Honeys -
Wil,
––I thought the Stuart tanks looked really good straight from HBG.
––But after the many modifications that you’ve done to them in making the three distinct models I asked for from them, I am truly amazed! :-o
----The barrels on all of them, the different turret shapes, and the skirts on the ‘Honeys’ are excellent work! :-D These bring back memories of some balantine paperback books about these 'Honeys".
––You truly have a talent for this. I hope you eyes and fingertips hold out long enough to complete the many units of my “Grand Game”.“Tall Paul”

And Wil’s Stuart Tanks from the rear.

Fellow A&A Gamers,
––I’ve re-organised my existing old threads to reflect their new, larger contents.
----The threads will now consist of:Infrastructure
U.S. Army / U.S. Army Air Force
U.S. Navy / U.S. Marines
U.K.-Europe (London-based)
U.K.-Far East (Calcutta-based)
France
Italy
Germany
U.S.S.R
China
Anzac––Each of these threads will contain ALL of the units that fit their descriptions, including the land, sea, & air units of the specific country/service, their multiple paint schemes, and all “Special Forces” too.
––It should be a more logical approach and also make it easier to find and enjoy things. Stay tuned as many units are in the process of completion with many more just starting. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.“Tall Paul”
-
Fellow A&A Gamers,
––I’ve updated the “Axis & Allies Unit List” in the 2nd message of this thread to reflect all of the units not only completed, but also the ones “In Process”. The units marked “COMING SOON” have already made it to the final painting/decalling stage.
––I envite you to ‘stay tuned’ as there are literally dozens of units in the que with many more planned as time permits. I hope you enjoy them as much I do and hope they might inspire you to paint some of your own.“Tall Paul”
-
Fellow A&A Gamers,
––The listings of all the “links” have been reorganized to allow easier location of the many topics and have been newly up-dated as of February 3, 2013.

––Well, what can I say. I’m just trying to make everyone HAPPY!
----But it’s really my secret plan of campaign. The “Sugar Tanks” get your attention while the “Chocolate Tanks” roll up your flanks and go for the jugular. :-D
––It just goes to show that you have to have a good sense of humor, especially if you frequent this site!“Tall Paul”

Gar,
––I’ll have to give it to ya. I like your version of “eating art” better! Mmmm! :-D

OOOO! My bowels are trembling in fear!
Your sugar tanks are no match for my maple-syrup dipped infantry, not even dice rolls can pull them off the board.
And prepare for your plans to get all Jammed… raspberry! Because my heart-destroyers are going to raise your sub-cholestorols right from the sea!
