Can USA build ships if the Germans has occupied the us

@The_Good_Captain The rule applies in all sea battles where there are sea units allied to the attacker present, regardless of the type(s) of defending German sea units. The rule mentions only German subs because the author failed to take into account the possibility that the situation could also exist with German surface units if they were mobilized in a hostile sea zone. This oversight was corrected in the Axis & Allies Pacific Rulebook.

In my experience, Russia has not won without additional Air Force.

I’m playing a game right now where all nations are restricted to territory value for build limit…Russia can only build five units per round to Germany’s ten.

I’ve sent Russia the British Bomber, built a fighter, and recieved three fighters and I’m about to convert two more…

I often find that much of the Russian fighting power becomes stacked in Belorussia. Btt by building eight tanks each turn, I can easily use the combined forces to crush the Belorussian army, and after that the door to Moscow is blown wide open.

How about taking the planes down with building fleet? you could make with your starting ipc, 2 destroyers to defend your 2 transports and use them in danish strait to transport to norway troops which march from there to finland. Which will worry soviet player because a new attacking force would form from the north.

In our games it’s a good tactic if the allies don’t destroy the german fleet immediately with their planes. And if they do that the planes which would have gone to russia will be lost in the fight with the fleet, 2 dst and 2 trns can inflict a lot of damage to planes…

well im gonna list all the germans guns i know….(not inculding artillery pieces) …Mauser Karbiner 98,gewher-43,Mp-28,Mp-35,Mp-38,Mp-40,Mp-44,Mg-13,Mg-34 and offcoarse the Mg-42…did i miss anything?

i tried it.  Its failed.  However I think with more practice it could be pulled off.  I just thing the technique eneds to be refined.

You have to follow history atleast slightly. Pull all russia forces back to your cities and if that wont hold think of puting every man in moscow. That is an incredible amount of defense. It is also key that america and the UK take the sea and put pressure on Germany so they cant devote all their forces and money to killing russia. They might even want to consider shiping planes over that russia can take control of. 8 planes in moscow with a role of 4 or less is incredible defense against tanks. If the Germans are going after russia full force just pull back to moscow and let US and UK take the covoys back, supply troops, and put pressure on Germany. If Germany always wins it is because the people playing US and UK suck at the game.
