FYI, here is a link to a project (ending in the next 7 hours) on Kickstarter that has been wildly successful.
Part of that success is because of how well the project was presented, the stretch goals and what you get for funding it (plus the quality of the work being produced of course)!

There are many examples of similar, incredibly successful crowd-funded projects.  This is only the most recent that I’ve been interested in personally (and wish so much to have had the money to back it now).

Anniversary for me. Only played the original Europe and Pacific once each as my buddy has them and after we played them the two 1940’s came out. I liked the 12 IPC thing. In Pacific I liked the round one defenders suck rule. Just got Guadalcanal and D-Day but only played Guadalcanal once and not D-Day. Global is great but too long. Havent played the 40 games separate since Europe 40 came out and dont think i will. Bulge is OK but I need to play it more to say whether I like it or not.

The Dora Links doll also has a magical alert system; she knows when new mysteries have been added to DoraLinks. When you pet him somewhere that he doesn’t like he will show his anger and attack you. For example, studies have shown that teens who watch lots of sexual content on TV are more likely to initiate intercourse or participate in other sexual activities earlier than peers who don’t watch sexually explicit shows.

Crap! With you guys doing Germany, USA, and UK in a row, I’m gonna have to repaint my whole BOTB game! Oh well, time to find the paints again…  :wink:

I will if it doesn’t sell soon. However, ebay charges 9% to BGGs 3%. Also ebay has a $1 fee for placing an item up for bid. Additionally, there are four to five AA50s for sale on ebay right now. I hope to wait till those auctions end so most people are bidding on mine.
