@TheGheko91 Are you wanting to make it harder to beat the AI when playing solo?
If so you can use the unit edit.Make the nation you are playing weaker by removing some starting units and/or add a few staring units to your AI controlled opposition.I find the AI will never capture 2 enemy capitals,so set it for economic victory,which you can adjust the numbers when setting up your game.

I’m new to this forum and have a good friend whom I play against when we hook up at each other’s homes.

I always use the Allies because my buddy likes the “fun” of using the Axis.  I never lose playing the Allies however because of a couple of sound strategies that take the luck out of A&A. (unless Germany goes hell-bent for Karelia and manages to keep it for a turn with enough to beat off a counter-attack from Russia in next turn).

My take on the allies is this…build an Indian factory to stall the Japanese and keep the Japs trying to get rid of this factory rather than going straight after Russia…  More importantly…the US can decide the game by leaving the Pacific alone and throwing everything they have into getting troops into Africa/Norway and even France to help take pressure off the Russians, deny the Germans the free 11 IPC’s in Africa ASAP and allow the UK to also send land units to the continent via Norway.

To even the game up I always give the Axis “super subs and fighters” plus not allow Russia to attack for 1st turn.  Even then…unless I get unlucky with early dice rolls the sheer weight of US IPC’s allows me to wipe out Germany at which point Japan is toast.  I suppose I COULD limit the Russians from attacking the 1st TWO turns but don’t want to give up TOO much as the Allies from the beginning?  Any other suggestions as to how the Axis can win?

Let me know if you need anything other than me sitting down to deal with the 2nd edition rules, to help out.  I need to print them out and read them - one day.

You should wait a bit. Don’t rush, because Mr. Harris said that he want make a new update (maybe the final version) in like 4-6 weeks. From I can understand, alpha 3 is even more provisional than latter versions. No much point updating the module

About the charts, the other time I simply copy pasted the letters from the old files  :-) And when I do the module for the last version, I’ll have not much to change. The list would be:

Unit costs as you pointed Some NO boxes here and there (I still prefer the NO boxes near to the zone they are related, good old AA50 style) Setup in fact is the thing I hate more. One has to redo the whole setup to prevent glitches. Not difficult, be requires much work, and double check I’ll check the optionals chart, just in case some of them are obsolete (probably the NAP and the merry mongolians)

As for the mongolians, not much work to do. If they stay as they are, simply I should delete the NAP box (the mongolians substitute the pact), and when they are activated, Japan’s simply must put an ‘allied friendly’ marker.

I think you should rename this to TripleA map: Global War or something for a informative topic name.

Good effort for porting your work to TripleA.
I guess TripleA players might have all went to the TripleA forum to comment.

I too would like to know how to use the rsek.exe and the csek.exe described in the Abattlemap help files… they don’t give much details even after translating it into english.

Does anyone know how to do this?
