@wittmann:
AA , Worsham, as Japan starts with a ridiculous 21 Air units.
Not right, in my eyes.
I agree, it’s a swarm of angry hornets.
Alrighty then, lets say the US player lands in Korea and then moves its forces up to liberate Manchuria for the Chinese. Does China get to keep the antiaircraft gun? What if Japan built naval and air bases? Can allied players then use those?
I understand that an industrial complex would be discarded, but does the same rule apply to the other cardboard counters or can china actually have an AA gun?
I think that the navalbase and airbase get discarded. I also think I remember the rules saying the allied power to liberate the Chinese territory puts a control marker under the AA gun. I’ll reread them today and answer for sure if nobody beats me to it.
We had already had a Chinese aa gun question and china will get the aa gun but I don’t know about the bases. I think that the bases would stay because there is nothing stated in the rules, to the best of my memory.
Here is the aa gun thread. http://www.axisandallies.org/forums/index.php?topic=16370.0
Thanks Fanofbond. I had just woke up when I replied, so I wasn’t thinkibg straight.
It’s alright my friend asked the original aa gun question. We had a debate and this is where the question ended up, but the bases are a good question.
I assume airbases and naval bases stay.
It only says china destroyes any industrial complexes it captures.
