http://www.mediafire.com/i/?qwrkjk33rlbbmjoWow, you’re right. The one with the pistol is nearly exact, while the other looks strikingly similar to one of the figs you have at the back of your pic.

I think you’re confused … the pistol/officer figure looks slightly similar maybe, but nowhere close to exact (completely different stance for starters). The rifles figures from the very back look fairly similar though yes.
Then again, just how many poses can there possibly be? You’re bound to have a resemblance to something that’s out there already.

I’ve compared. They are different poses (The unit with the pistol, which is the one Variable said is “near exact”).
As for the rest of it they are all wearing Italian WW2 gear, so really there can’t be that much variation and there are only so many viable poses for units of this size.

Variable isn’t so confused.
I believe that the resemblance is striking. -
how many military poses are there anyway? i love fmgs poses, plus those soldiers are in 1/72 scale, while AAA is around H0/OO which is around 1/87scale

while AAA is around H0/OO which is around 1/87scale
Closer of 1/72.
1/87 HO scale is littele bit too small. -

Yes yes, ok, I don’t know why people keep mshowing the rifles poses. I already agreed on that. The pistols yes is similar. Anda gain, HOW MANY VIABLE POSES COULD THERE BE, Really? There are bound to be pieces out there (as also mentioned already, in different scale) that are similar or identical.
In any case, I’m not going to argue it. It’s a done deal, the pieces look fantastic (especially up close and personal) and we move on from here.

I fully agree that FMGs stuff looks great and I will buy everything they make. They have gone to all the trouble of making a perfect size, perfect color, perfect matching item for A&A. I was just showing my support of someone else’s observation. We just found it amusing is all.

They probably used the same company or sculptor.
-
Our sculptor could have used those or something similar as a model when they were making these. Notice however that they are different. Those figures have a “leg up” and our sculpts have both feet firmly on the ground.
Many different pictures / models were used for examples, and the sculptor could have taken inspiration from any of these (possible). They were however individually sculpted as you can see from the original sculpt pictures.

WOW! Those airplanes look fantastic!!! Now that’s the kind of quality that I was expecting from FMG. After seeing the sample of the Enterprise I was beginning to wonder. My concerns have been erased. Job well done!

I completely agree, Black Fox. FMG - these are brilliant and perfect, thank you.
