Best 100 pt army

Thought I’d throw this out, What’s the best 100 pt mix for competition play. Just finished using a mediocre German army

Panzer IV Ausf. G
Panzer II Ausf. C
2 Sd Kfz 251
lt mortar
machine gun
Wehrmacht Oberleutnant
2 Mauser Kar 98k

most of the armies that showed up were german
-built around a Nashorn, Panzer IV Ausf. G and  SS-Panzergrenadier’s
-built around a Sturmpanzer IV “Brummbär”, Panzer IV Ausf. G and  SS-Panzergrenadier’s
-built around a Kingtiger and SS-Panzergrenadier’s

Allied
-built around 3 Archers and a Chafee (my one win)

Yes, quess I’ll have to beef up my forces with some SS units.

I’ve managed to put this 100 point Russian Army together that is currently 3 for 3 in battles against Germany.

7 Mosin-Nagant 1891/30
6 PPSh-41 SMG
1 Commissar
2 T-34/76

This army is pretty nasty equalling 100 points. I’ve put it up against armies like the previous 2 stated and it does really good. The commissar can hang out in a T-34 and move with the troops that surround him with the other T-34 as support. One Mosin-Nagant can easily be removed for tournaments with a 15 miniature limit rule for a 97 point army.

This one I can do no problem by borrowing my son’s Russians.

We’ll, my record just went to 4 for 4 playing a tournament scenario using the Urban Combat Objective maps. This means I also cut the army down 1 figure for the 15 miniature limit. They were Nazis… they where nasty and the army was 100 points consisting of:

1 Panzer IV - 30 Points
2 Panzer II - 18 Points
9 SS Panzergrenadiers - 45 Points
1 SS Haupsturmfuhrer - 7 Points

This game was won in 7 rounds also.
