  • I would like to request that you randomly roll to assign casualties for the AA run over London as per rules (TripleA does it wrong and lets you assign casualties freely between both raids) since it has a major impact on my chances of holding London. My suggestion is to roll two dice to assign the two hits, let 1-4 be tacticals, 5 be the bomber that rolled 7 damage and 6 be the bomber that rolled 8 damage. If the second dice rolls the same number reroll that dice (but not the first) until it shows a unique number.

    Hope that suggestion sounds OK with you, it seems the most fair as it lets you keep your great damage rolls.

    My apologies sir for the confusion and not clarifying before rolling. I have always rolled in order of greatest to lowest like others I have played. I just assumed we all did it that way. I have no problem following your suggestion and will roll the 2 dice. However, I would like know where this rule is you are referring to because I have looked at the G40 thread and cannot find it. Granted I only looked through the first few pages until it was clear I was in the discussion section. I don’t care enough to look through them all. Thanks.

    Going forward, I would like to suggest that aa gun dice are in the order of bombers, tacs, fighters. Here are the two dice…if I can remember how it is done  :|

    Hey I got it right…go figure. Anyhow, with the 2 & 3, the aa hits remain as tacs per your suggestion and the map remains unchanged.

    It’s not quite as easy as using your suggestion since you are allowed to assign casualties however you want for planes attacking the same facility (i.e. 2 tac + 1 bomber attack an airbase you can take the tacs first, but 2 tacs attack the airbase 1 bomber attacks harbor/factory you cant). Also for AA gun fire from factories/harbour/airfield, you can never take fighters as casualties whereas from regular AA guns you can always choose whichever order you like. In the very few cases that a double raid like this is done I suggest rolling the whole thing on the forums.
