    I think with this I can now get started with PBF.

    Thanks.  We are actually working on some further changes to T.W.W. currently.  Just to iron out some of the last imbalances we have seen in the last release.  If it is to be the tie-breaker for the tournament then it needs to be well balanced.

    I’m glad I am learning to play by e-mail,  but truth be told I prefer playing live.  Who knows.  I may learn to enjoy this though.

    Online and PBEM are different beasts. Online is social and PBEM is antisocial xD Seriously, you can take your time in PBEM. Online feels very rushed even though many say just take your time to make your turn.

  • Heps, I noticed you could not place a bireme with Creek City States because of production value rule.

    You can fix that by:

    1. You can use those PUs next turn for Creek City States. That means you must use edit mode and add unit(s) manually for the Creeks. However, you must do it by respecting the production value of the zone with the city. So you can only build and edit maximum of 6 units next turn. You can also use those PUs you wasted in some other turn, but again, you must respect the production value of a city.

    2. If you want you can repurchase everything for Greece this turn and replace them by using the edit mode.

  • I have to say that PBEM is quite possibly the most boring way to play a game.

    I feel like I’m playing by myself, and playing one turn every day or couple of days is very unexciting.

    Apparently purchases do not carry over.  Something I was unaware of.  So if you are good with it, I will simply refund the lost P.U. to the Greeks on my turn with the Persians.  That way I’ll simply have 7 more P.U. for purchases on the Greeks turn.  (Which is what I would have done anyway had I known that units do not carry over between turns).


  • Yeah, I am fine with it. I am just not sure can you simply increase Creek’s PUs.


  • I am sorry to hear that you don’t enjoy PBEM. Hopefully your opinion  changes as this game develops.

    If you received the first version I’m sure you would prefer to use that since I got totally diced in that version.


  • Uh, if you have problems posting your move you should just save game, post a reply to the thread, and attach the save file manually to the post.

    There is no redoing the move with new dices.
