Normally, Japan should be allowed to scramble a fgt in sz6, so a lone transport could never be able to drop anything in Korea….

It looks like you’re right - none of us saw the fighter, but the game didn’t prompt us either…
Based on the rules I just read, you should have been able to scramble - does anyone see anything different, or know of a reason things would be different?
If a scramble was in order, how should we proceed? Lose the transport/infantry, or allow a different deployment? If the latter, I think we should have to have it in either Hawaii or W US - and not allowed to be in the Carolines.
