Short UK Destroyers?

Just finished up my first AAE40, great game btw.

I noted on setup that I was short 1 UK Destroyer.  It wasn’t a chip up issue or anything like that, there was just not enough.  I had to use one from AAP40.  Just curious what the official count should be for the UK Destoryers so I know if I have to contact the company to get more.

This is like the Japanese Tactical Bomber incident?! Although I guess in Pacific the UK won’t buy a navy that often.

So I went and double/triple checked.  The set up chart calls for 5 destroyers total, as mentioned above.  I in fact only have 4 in my box.  I’ve taken every piece out to make sure I wasn’t just over looking it somewhere.

Anyone else confirm only 4, or is my game just special :)

Call WOTC, tell them that you are missing 2, and they will send the replacements.

The game as it comes has enough pieces for normal play variance (95% of games).

I am always short on German artillery. In each and every game I have too few art. I build some every turn, but always use chits, but still….

The US could also use more tpts IMO. We were playing just E40 and also used up the tpts from P40. We still had to chip some. We had the US near 100 ipc’s though, the Jolly Green Giant had a lot of mobility.

Why do you build artillery? Just wondering why does everyone buy them?

You should have 6. Ignore the comment to buy AAP40, and contact WotC to send you the 2 destroyers.

Maybe you used the wrong pieces for the setup?
