@argothair yes that indeed is an issue. That is why i stop doing taranto but this form of Gibastion. This way i save the fleet and carrier. So UK 2 i move them (UK fighters from the Med and London who are now in algeria) to Egypte and there on to Moscow. Togethee with the Anzac fighters this gives Russia a bit of breathing space.
The factory in Egypte buys subs and a fighter turn two and from turn 3 on fighters abd Land units .
It is not the perfect plan but wirh a US going 75% KJF you can’t invade Europe direct.

@dazedwit building a naval base on J1 is a clear sign of an impending attack on India. No other reason to do it on the first turn instead of building transports or factories with the initial spend.
Players should be able to understand if their capitols are going to be plundered the following turn… a necessary part for every turn.

I’m playing out the whole game now and playing every country like a maniac. I just started G4, took Leningrad and decided to take some pictures for an update because the map is kinda insane.
France took Southern France back from Germany turn one with the two guys from Normandy and the fighter from London. Germany had plans for that complex turn 2 so this would set them back a turn so they gave up that plan and let Italy take it back… except all the units in No. Italy already moved east, so France has held it 3 turns.
USA ready to go for Italy’s capital - so Italy bought all inf and got a couple fighters back. US can just land in Southern France so Germany is going to take it back this turn and add a couple guys to Northern Italy.
Italy built an AB on Syria turn 2. Both German and Italian planes been wreaking havoc in every direction from the Syrian AB. Italy had 3 guys survive invasion of Syria turn one. That little army and all the planes getting there turn 2 has turned Italy into a Middle East menace. This is Italy second turn in a row taking TransJordan and keeping all those boats trapped in the Red Sea. US is coming as soon as next turn to start crushing Italy - so on Italy4, all units from Alexandria and the one tank in TransJordan will attack Egypt. After one round of battle will retreat all survivors to TransJordan to get further away from US - and will prob just unleash them on Middle East or Russia or whatever presents itself.
Convoying UK off of Africa
Japan has so many options - Go west, go Norht, go East. That large fleet can be taken out J4, or can deal with resurgent Chinese, or go to Australia.

Japan took out the allied fleet in the Suez Canal and took back the Money Islands.
US and UK about to join forces this round.
Us took Tobruk from Italy with everything that was in Morroco.

Germany took a VC. It’s a race to whether Moscow will fall first or Berlin. I feel Moscow will fall, but Egypt will be gone by then. Playing all countries like a maniac (save Anzac) is so much fun and constantly alters the board and coarse of the war.

Japan Turn 5 still on the offensive but also going defensive for eventual US invasion. China is no more. Starting last turn I totally threw away stats and went inf vs inf and so on, in China. Worked.

End of UK Round 5. USA and UK have a large army in Holland. Germany two turns from taking Moscow. USA and UK planning to take Berlin in two turns. I’m gonna have to look up to see other people’s experience with both capitals falling same turn.

I was initially going to abandon Egypt and go into Africa. But then I realized that’s a victory city and I need to fight for it. So I did. Had two fighters in Southern Italy - reached 4 spaces and will land in Egypt.

End of Turn 5
USA ready to ship more units to Europe. I forgot to include South America - Turn 5, Anzac conquered Chile.
Germany starting to crumble, but Italy brought all of their inf up over last two turns to fortify West Germany. This is the picture I’ve been waiting for. The London fighter left turn one and helped France take back Southern France. A turn later it flew to Norway to help UK defend its new acquisition. Turn 4 it flew to newly conquered Spain to help defend it. And now Turn 5 it’s back in Paris!!! One of the Foreign Legion survived to and is now in South Africa.
Standoff in the Suez. Italy activated the 2 free units on Mozambique (thanks UK for invading Spain). Used the tank in Alexandria to take off the USA marker and back to Alexandria.
Middle East pretty open now
Italy’s can opener could have gone better - took off the AA and 5 inf. I bumped it up one round because Berlin is in trouble and I need to take Moscow now, so I can race back west.
